Hi-vis wear are safety garments worn for protection in high risk environments. These garments are made of highly reflective properties or a color which can be distinguished from the background or surroundings. Such garments are usually worn by people who are working around vehicles, factories, construction sites, manufacturing units or in sites of emergency. The garments work on the interesting principle of human eye that gets attracted to bright or contrasting or moving objects.

Countries like Australia have now made it mandatory for staffs working in high risk places to wear HI-VIS wear.
